Trust in the unmerited gift of God's grace

You can't escape the inevitable crises that will face you throughout your lifetime. Whether it's health problems, emotional issues, career challenges, gut-wrenching losses, or other failures, these experiences can destroy your morale and lead you into despair. Some crises may be a result of your own choices, while others may be completely out of your control. Whatever the source, there is a lasting solution that comes to you free of charge from above: God's amazing grace.

In Grace Revealed, you will:

  • Experience real-life stories of others who discover they are not alone and that relief is within their grasp.
  • See how devastating afflictions can be overcome through faith in Jesus and His love, mercy, and grace.
  • Learn how God's grace transforms lives and leads you into enduring and rewarding Christian service.
  • Be inspired to encourage others who are suffering but cannot seek help on their own.

Read these undeniable, modern-day examples of God's loving grace and its transformative power, and discover that God is always present in your time of need.

Christian living genre books are often difficult in the sense that it is very subjective, and personal. In Fred Sievert's Grace Revealed, he compiled a number of personal testimonies and add in his thoughts into how grace was revealed. In turn, he hoped to encourage readers to trust in God's grace, and then, "return grace to others."

"Sometimes it is difficult, even for believers, to trust God in a crisis situation because they think their own specialized training or knowledge should be sufficient. But it is not. I believe God allows crises to surface in people's lives to remind them that He is in control, so they don't need to be." (161)

I think each story within Grace Revealed shared a personal experience that can be either an encouragement or and inspiration for others. And the author's thoughts on the story, along with the personal reflection questions for readers further that premise by pointing out specific areas for readers to ponder on.

". . .out of those crises, she found the courage and conviction to love herself and accept God's grace, acknowledging that 'trials are often opportunities to grow and transform.'(108)

Amen to that. Though I don't always find comfort or relevance in all the stories, that is just a personal opinion, I do think overall, Grace Revealed has served its purpose and goal.
