Miracle Drug for Who? (+ Giveaway)

Wow! What an amazing, suspenseful and downright interesting story. "Miracle Drug" is my first medical suspense novel and my first by Dr. Richard Mabry.

Read below for a little more about the book. I can tell you there's romance (a beautiful love story), there's adventure (why not, with political drama and secret agents at work) and mystery (this is a suspense thriller).  I enjoyed every bit of it. I'm usually pretty on mark with suspense thrillers, but this one just totally was all over the place - good. At one point, I had a handful of "possible" suspects and I was like, what is going on? Conspiracy for sure!  The medical aspect of the book also was interesting. It wasn't filled with gory details, but gripping scenarios and relational interactions that makes this story compelling to say the least.

To make it a notch up, Dr. Mabry intertwined elements of faith throughout as these characters struggles with the uncertainty in life and love. Together with all the great elements of the story, "Miracle Drug" is indeed for everyone.  You won't be able to put it down. About the book:
Miracle Drug
 (Abingdon, September 2015)

Overcoming these odds will take more than a miracle drug---it will take a miracle.

The infection wasn't supposed to happen, but it did. The treatment was supposed to take care of it, but it didn't. Then Dr. Josh Pearson discovers why---his patients, including the former President of the United States, have been dosed with a different strain of the original virus, one that is universally fatal. The only chance for survival is treatment with an experimental drug, but the manufacturer might already have discarded its supply.

As if treating the President of the United States isn't stressful enough, the situation goes from bad to worse when Rachel Moore, a nurse Josh is falling in love with, falls ill. With the nation's eyes on him, Josh must pull off a miracle to save a man who holds a good deal of power and the woman who holds his heart.
