About Children's Book Week:
Children’s Book Week is the annual celebration of books for young people and the joy of reading.
Established in 1919, Children’s Book Week is the longest-running national literacy initiative in the country. Every year, commemorative events are held nationwide at schools, libraries, bookstores, homes – wherever young readers and books connect!

I've always been a fan of reading since little, especially all the great Christmas stories. So, on my stop, I'm giving away a copy of Dear Santa, Love, Rachel Rosenstein, by Amanda Peet and Andrea Troyer, illustrated by Christine Davenier, and a reviewed copy of Buck Denver asks "What's in the Bible?" Vol 2, Let My People Go: Exodus DVD. (Click on the title for my review).
Title: Dear Santa, Love, Rachel Rosenstein
Author: Amanda Peet and Andrea Troyer
Illustrator: Christine Davenier
Publisher: DoubleDay Books for Young Readers
Release Date: October 20, 2015
Genre: Children Picture Book
ABOUT THE BOOK
Rachel Rosenstein
is determined to celebrate Christmas this year—and the fact that her family is
Jewish is not going to stop her. In a series of hilarious and heartwarming
mishaps, Rachel writes a letter to Santa explaining her cause, pays him a
visit at the mall, and covertly decorates her house on Christmas Eve (right
down to latkes for Santa and his reindeer). And while Rachel may wrestle
with her culture, customs, and love of sparkly Christmas ornaments, she also
comes away with a brighter understanding of her own identity and of the gift of
friends and family.
