Just from the book title, Deception Island, one can already expect lots of twist and turns. Suspense is definitely its game. Brynn Kelly, the author seems to be quite adept at getting readers engrossed in the characters' emotional state and the danger that lurks behind a seemingly empty island. With adventure and romance, this story is hot to say the least! What I truly enjoyed is how each main character's back story played out and tangled us into their development throughout to the very end. This not just a simple romantic thriller, the depth of growth between the characters of themselves and with each other, topped with the constant unexpected makes this nothing short from astounding. Fans of romantic suspense, will surely find a new author to follow and one to share with friends in Deception Island.
