This is the Guys Slimline Holy Bible, and I can tell you, this is just for any one. Slimline, meaning easy to carry at about 8" x 1" x 5.5". With a soft imitation leather exterior, blue/charcoal chevron design, and silver page edging this is one good looking Bible. Not only on the outside, but the inside too. Yes, of course, being God's Holy Words, but I meant what accompanies this Bible to help enhance and build your understanding of it. Here's what you can expect when you open this:

  • Easy to read font size,
  • Jesus words in red,
  • Dictionary/Concordance
  • "Great Chapters of the Bible" with subject matter (i.e. Colossians 3 is "Righteous Living")
  • "Great Verses of the Bible to Memorize"
  • 365-Day Reading Plan
  • Full color maps including one marking Jesus' ministry
Isn't that great?!! It is advertise as for ages 9-12, but I think in truth it will be a great resource for those who grew out of the illustrated Bibles (ages 9/10) to late teens/early 20s. I say this because it is practical along with being informative with all that it includes. The New Living Translation is targeted for young readers, so definitely easy to understand. I would recommend this for sure. Great for gift for the young boy in your life that needs a new "grown-up" Bible or just one that he wants to carry around.
