In
our current digital world, the internet puts every entrepreneur and creative
artist smack dab in the middle of social media and marketing. With an online
tsunami of informational how-to’s, deciding which methods work best challenges
the best of us. In Social Media Strategies: Discover Powerful Tools of the
Trade without Losing Your Soul, uncovers the most relevant techniques, skipping
unnecessary fluff by going straight to up-to-date tactics and tips used by
experts.
Inside these pages, a wealth of simple, savvy tricks aids
understanding of things like SEO, Facebook algorithms, top performing
platforms, and key ingredients for engagement. You’ll also have a treasure
trove of links, templates, time saving applications, and what’s projected to
change in cyberspace so you can stay ahead of the curve. However, your worth is
not the sum of hard numbers. No longer do you have to feel depersonalized by
ranks and formulas. T.H. Meyer combines trending social media content followed
by encouraging words that redirect your soul to God. In the right hands, social
media is a powerful tool for entrepreneurs and small businesses or any person
with a message to share.

Fast forward a few weeks, after reading through Social Media Strategies, I see the amount of work one needs to put in to incorporate social media into ones' blog. These days, I just do it, and didn't realize it really does take an effort, and if done market-ably, it can be quite the asset to increasing your blog's exposure. Tammy had written an easy outline for beginners diving into the world of blogging and social media as a promotional tool. Her suggestions in terms of blog platforms and which social media and net server companies to use are on point. However, I must point out that Social Media Strategies is more geared towards new bloggers. For those more seasoned, and have already use social media, it serves more as a refresher, and not new information. Even for that, I appreciate Tammy's thoughts, as well as the focus of Christian beliefs during your journey to blog.

ReplyDeleteI've been blogging for quite a few years, have gone through ups and downs, and currently am in a down. I could use some inspiration and insights into keeping up with the social media aspect. It gets tiring to me nowadays and I find myself not wanting to blog anymore. Thanks for the great review and giveaway opportunity.
ReplyDeleteI was eager to read this also, Annie, and look forward to starting it soon. There really is a lot of work to this social media thing. While I've made some wonderful friends in the process, it can be time consuming and even discouraging at times. Would love to just read, write reviews, and have people flock to my blog!

I'm a pretty new blogger. I started because I felt God was calling me to it and He has continually confirmed that this is something He wants me to do, a way that He wants work through me. The call came and hasn't left even when I didn't always follow through. T.H. Meyer is a friend of mine and I am very proud of her for stepping out there and doing this! She is an encouragement to me to keep going!
