The new full color edition of The NKJV Study Bible, personal size is true to its words, "The Complete Resource for Studying God's Word."  Its in-depth study resources includes footnotes, relative and cross referenced Biblical verses, as well as a thorough concordance in the back. The attractive full color layout plus graphics create an easy to read section or notes that jumps out at you to take heed. Jesus' words are in a deep red and reference charts like "The Prophecies of Jesus' Birth"  gives readers informative references to review. Being a study Bible, I expect no less.  However, I must say, due to the size and edition (personal size), the text is quite small. Many will need good reading glasses or a magnifying glass to read.  Approximately 5.5"x 8" x 2"D, it is a good chunky Bible that is easy to carry in terms of size. At just under 3 lbs in weight, not so bad. I believe I will make good use of this Bible.  One more thing is that the cover is of a sturdy card stock material with a laminated gloss over the outside. I have a similar Bible of this material, and after 2 years of carrying it everywhere with me, the cover shows its use and wear.  If you buy this new, I would recommend laminating it yourself with a book cover or clear contact sheet to give it more weight. In all, a comprehensive Study Bible that will be perfect for one to study God's Word in depth. It's one to keep around for sure.
