Sorry for the late unveiling, but it's been a crazy month, and it's not over yet! Anyway, I wanted to post this in time for my Summer Giveaways event. You'll see why come tomorrow! *wink wink. Back to Owlcrate. A little about them:
Owlcrate is a monthly subscription box service. Every month, a theme is chosen (for the month of June, it's 'Royalty'), and a carefully selected brand new Young Adult novel (new or soon to be released), along with 3-5 bookish items to keep. Many times, they will work with designers to custom design something exclusively for Owlcrate to tie into the month's theme. You can order personal or gift subscriptions starting with 1, 3 or 6 months at $29.99 + shipping for one month. Subscribing to several months at a time will save you a little more money. More plan options are available online.
So, that's my monthly spiel on it. I've subscribed since December of last year, and have only skipped one month, since the theme really wasn't where my interests lies. So this month being "Royalty," I was a little psyched. Then the mystery spoiler of a mini Funko Pop! I'm thinking Disney princesses, and honestly, who doesn't want a cute little Disney princess?! Ready for this month's box??!!! Here we go!
Here's how it looked when I first opened the box! OK, Hagrid is mine, so he didn't come with the box, just that he couldn't wait. *wink.

Can't see clearly? That's why we'll go over this one by one! First, there's always the special greeting card from Owlcrate. Did you know each month, it's specifically designed to tailor to the month's theme? On the back, it includes a list and description of each item. Sometimes like this month, there's a special giveaway for subscribers too!
Next, had to open the mystery mini POP! Guess who?!!

I got little Ariel from The Little Mermaid. Quite cute she is!

Now, what do we have here? It's a card that tells us next month's theme is Good vs Evil! Oo, and when you turn the card over, it tells you a spoiler! "In the July box, you'll receive a full-sized POP figure from Funko!" Exciting! Not only that, the boxes are split between good and evil. I wonder which box I'll get!! What do you think?
Next, a pretty bookmark, but wait, it's also a coupon for $10 off discount at Mybookmark-shop.com! I'll have to check it out!

O, next, this 5.5" x 8.5" glossy print inspired from Victoria Aveyard's Red Queen created by Evie Bookish. Just love it! So pretty, and the Red Queen is on my TBR list.

This handmade bracelet from Rich Love Shoppe, inspired by Cinder of The Lunar Chronicles from Marissa Meyer! I've heard such great things about this series. I must get to them soon!
The bracelet quote says, "Even in the future, the story begins with once upon a time."

What do you think of it? Pretty? I must say though, this might be the 3rd or 4th item from Rich Love Shoppe that's included in the Owlcrate box. Must be an exclusive thing. That goes for Evie's designs also. Not complaining, they are quite pretty, just noticing.
Next, these cute magnetic bookmarks from Craftedvan. Cute, though the colors I wish was a little more vibrant and variant. No?
And now, the book.
Ummm, does that look familiar? O yes, if you've seen my Uppercase unboxing, you'll know it happens to be the same book. Uppercase comes with a bookmark and a signed copy. This one comes with a paper crown (used for the giveaway) and a note from the authors for Owlcrate subscribers. So...for a lucky reader, this book (sorry, I'm going to keep the signed copy) will be in one of the summer giveaways!! So stay tune!

Wow! This is a fantastic box of good stuff. I've been wanting to get a copy of Lady Jane since I first read about it.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, I'm not a huge YA fan but a box of bookish goodies is always fun!
