Suspenseful and downright witty! If you want a simple, quiet night so you can get some shut-eye, don't pick up Deadly Encounter by DiAnn Mills! It will keep you reading through the pages until the very end, even if it's past your bedtime.  That's what happened to me. My first encounter with DiAnn's suspense thrillers, and boy, was I in for a surprise! I was going through the pages so fast, while contemplating what is happening in the story, the hours just flew by.

O, such wit in every character. I love Whitt's highly intelligent responses, Stacy's snarky remarks, Alex' counters and Ric's rationale. I heard myself chuckle and felt myself rolling my eyes at some of the dialogues between these characters. Then the plot itself had me traveling in circles and completely lost as to how and what?! I mean, I knew cute Xena had to have something significant to do with it, but what? And then...is Stacy really who she says she is or is she involved somehow?

Faith messages, along with social issues that are still prevalent in many parts of our country, or rather in every major city were definite present. What makes this a great one is how it connects throughout and what reality is, Christians are humans too and does encounter things they struggle with also. With lots of twists and turns, great personalities and fun dialogue, this is one entertaining read.
