BLACK WIDOW: RED VENGEANCE is the action-packed sequel tothe instant New York Times best-seller, BLACK WIDOW: FOREVER RED, penned by #1New York Times best-selling author Margaret Stohl.

This time, Stohl takesreaders inside the minds of Marvel's most cunning and dangerous spies-BlackWidow and Red Widow-delving deeper into their powers and will reveal more thanever before about the infamous assassin and her fledgling hero-in-training.

Black Widow is back and in full force! If you recall (probably not) in my review of the first book, Black Widow: Forever Red, I had mentioned that Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow doesn't play a strong, I mean the story is mostly on Ava.  Well, we get to see Black Widow more in action this time around in book 2, Black Widow: Red Vengeance, and she kicks! Together, the Widows (Black and Red) seeks vengeance for the death of someone they care about (happened in Black Widow: Forever Red). However, they need to first open up and learn to work together better, especially with all the quantam relatives happening, with each other and with others. Red Vengeance is all about them, but what makes this fun and entertaining is the appearance of other Avengers and Coulson too!

In usual Marvel style, the author, Margaret Stohl showcased the heroines and heroes through actions and dialogue. The emotional aspect was definitely a plus, and that's what makes Stohl's Black Widow series unique from comics or the motion pictures.  It needs to be read as a series to fully appreciate the transformation and the development.

Disclaimer: I received a free copy of this book from the publisher. I was not required to write a positive review, and have not been compensated for this. This is my honest opinion.
