Now be honest. How many of you have a wardrobe full of clothes, but probably just wear about 20% of it? Don't be shy. OK, I admit, I'm one of those. Well, I might wear 30-40% of my wardrobe, but definitely not 100%. Why? That's because seasons change, I don't fit them anymore, trends fade or simply I thought I liked it at the store, but it didn't look good on me at home.  What I need is a curated closet that tailors to my style. Wait, look! That's what The Curated Closet by Anuschka Rees is all about.

The Curated Closet seems to have spoken directly to me as I read through the book. The tips, the reasoning and the sample ideas and formulas seems to target me. Why do I like it? Why don't I? Why won't it work?  The key is to first identify your style, and go from there.  Very informative. I especially like the sample color palettes and formulas the author included. Reading the book was easy since it made sense and it felt like she was talking to me, almost like a conversation.  However, I would say that I wish there were more photos, examples or just ideas, but I do understand why. It's about minimalist and about not clouding our own style with what the author might think is fabulous, but might not won't work on us. I get it, but still wish there was a tad bit more.  One day, I am going to take The Curated Closet and follow it step by step in overhauling my wardrobe. I believe it will take at least a day, and some extra ones to really create a curated closet.

In all, a great resource, not just for the fashionista, but for those who wants to know, understand, and let their style speak of who they are.
