International pop star Margo Hartman could use a night off. A grueling tour and overbearing entourage have sent her over the edge. It's time for this diva to disappear. And who would think to look for the superstar in a small Dutch town in Ohio?
Sheriff's deputy Brock Moore is undercover as well. He knows Margo isn't who she appears to be, but her uncanny resemblance to a local Amish woman is raising all sorts of questions... the kind that make her a target for a killer.
Both are determined to find answers, but their mutual attraction stands in the way of either of them doing it alone.
Is finding Margo the solution to Brock's problems or just the beginning...?

Is it a tad bit ironic that I chose the above quote from Jen Turano's newest release, Finding Margo on her birthday of all days?! (Sorry Jen, I already picked that one out to start my review prior to finding out it was your birthday.) It is truly coincidental (and cool) that my review lands on the author's birthday, don't you think? So of course, I need to give a big shout out to wish Jen Turano a wonderful birthday. And honestly, I think you ALL should head over to her social media sites and send her a nice emoticon. You'll find links in her bio further down. Now, back to the review.

Finding Margo is just as quirky and fun as Jen Turano's historical novels. It's filled with more than one mystery, though they do seem to all be connected in some way, and a bunch of weird characters that will either have you laugh out loud or shake your head in disbelief. It's contemporary romance at its core. I like the interactions between Brock and Margo, and would love to see more of Sebastian, the stylist that is way cooler than one would think. And there's one very smart duck named Gabby, that doesn't just like to gab, but a duck that has the personality that rivals any diva. Margo hit it out of the park. She is funny and genuine. She doesn't sound like a diva, given that she is a "pop princess," and that's what makes it so much fun. If I need to pick one word to describe Finding Margo, it would be FUN. That word have stuck in my head since I started reading this book.
There's more than you think that's happening here. More than a pop star wanting some peace and quiet, or a deputy sheriff that's more than he seems to be. There's more than a little accident and more than what meets the eye in the quaint little Amish town of Millersburgh, Ohio. Then the message one wouldn't expect, but it's there, hightailing itself into your mind. What we can expect is the same humor we see in the author's historical novels in Finding Margo. Bizarre scenarios and eccentric personalities will drive you to finish this novel in one sitting, and for me, I would love to continue on this series to find all the answers this town needs for peace. How soon can the author write, and the publisher publish may be your question as you turn the last page.
Disclaimer: I received a free copy of this book from the author/publisher. I was not required to write a positive review, and have not been compensated for this. This is my honest opinion.

USA Today best-selling author Jen Turano writes contemporary and historical romances with quirky characters and unusual storylines. Just outside Denver, Colorado, Jen and her husband live as empty-nesters, and they do so fabulously.
