Parents who already know and love the Say & Pray Bible will love Say & Pray Devotions as it helps their youngsters continue to engage their faith in a personal way. Featuring the same fun style of artwork and the educational elements as Say & Pray Bible, this devotional for little ones will teach the basics of identification and comprehension while sharing biblical principles for life. Each devotion offers a topical message to help little ones learn and follow biblical principles.

What an adorable book Say & Pray Devotions: First Words, Devotions, and Prayers by Diane Stortz is! A great way to start devotion time with your little ones and learn a few more words in the process. With bright and colorful images, illustrated by Sarah Ward, and easy to see words, parents and children can go over each day with a new theme.  Besides images, each day starts with a little description and on the other page, a little section that says "Say and Pray." Each "Say and Pray" has a Bible verse, along with teaching you what to pray. Indeed a good way to instill prayers at an early age, as well as familiarity with Biblical verses!  This will make a perfect gift too!

  1. My fave illustrated book is Officer Buckle and Gloria .. but I also love Kevin Henkes' books. SO cute! Right now, my littlest nephew is too young to understand praying but we try haha!

  2. Thanks for reviewing Say & Pray Devotions and providing so many links to more information and other books. I appreciate it very much. Blessings!

  3. My favorite illustrated book is Wonton by Lee Wardlaw. I have board book Bible stories that include a thank you/praise prayer for each one. These are fabulous to help keep God in my kids' lives.

  4. My favorite illustrated books are the ones by Tasha Tudor.

  5. This would be perfect for my four yr old grandson! We keep him during the day and I try to teach him we can pray anytime, anywhere. We talk to God like we talk to each other.
My favorite illustrated book growing up was Walt Disney's Storyland.
