  12. My first grandchild's first Christmas was my highlight! He's turning one in two weeks so he loved the Christmas trees, lights, and music. Seeing him this year as a baby when his birth was such a miracle from God through several surgeries, multiple procedures at the fertility clinic, a miscarriage, and one last in vitro fertilization. This baby changed our lives as the first Christmas child changes lives all the time.

  15. Our youngest daughter came to spend Christmas with us ~ we gladly picked her up at the airport (190 miles roundtrip from us) on the 24th at noon and returned her for her flight on the 26th. My husband had homemade spaghetti sauce at the ready so we could play games all day. We went to Christmas Eve service and then she made her yummy Cinnamon rolls to bake on Christmas morning. We opened presents sent from our Wisconsin daughter's mailed package and had a fun day!

My husband had surgery on Dec 21, so just a few days before Christmas. It was successful, and he recovered nicely. Seeing him feel better was the highlight of my Christmas.

  34. One of the highlights of Christmas was to spend time with family since we lost my sister 3 months ago. We were able to video call my sister in Trinidad. My niece was just a real princess and joy to be around.

One dream for 2017 is to go and do something amazing that was designed by God- like being accepted to go to Australia for a year to help with the Singles Ministry.
