Year-End 2016 Debut Favorite Reads + Giveaway

Welcome to my very late Year-End 2016 Favorites!!
My year end favorite reads are books I've read in 2016 for the first time (and not necessarily all reviewed here - eek!).  They are also not all published in 2016, but majority am.

To start it off, here's what's going to happen. Every day in through February 28th (minus Sunday) at 6:00 PM EST
  1. I will tell you my favorite reads in the category of the day through their covers (you know how I love covers) and
  2. you click on them to see my review of the book (in a new window).
  3. Then you come back and fill out the Rafflecopter for a chance to win a prize!

Debut: First ever published book by the author

Tada! What do you think? Have you read any of these?  In all honesty, it was VERY hard to just narrow it down to these six! At one point, I had more than double this.  I've chosen these six because of several factors. To start, the emotions it evokes in me, the storyline as a debut, standalone (even if it's part of a series), and the message. All of those have to make an impact on me and had me going fan-girling for a new author!  With that, I must also mention the following book as an honorable mention:

I felt Storm Siren isn't as strong as it is as a series. Though I LOVED it, I put it in a different favorite category instead.

Today, there will be a giveaway for TWO winners. I REALLY think you need to read ALL of these books.  Here are the prizes:

Debut Prize #1: One winner will be selected at the end of the giveaway and receive a hardcover copy of Unblemished by Sara Ella courtesy of Thomas Nelson & Zondervan Fiction AND (1) copy of Love, Lace and Minor Alterations by V.Joy Palmer (winner's choice of print or ebook) courtesy of the author.

Debut Prize #2: One winner will be selected at the end of the giveaway and receive an ebook (digital) copy of Love, Lace and Minor Alterations by V.Joy Palmer courtesy of the author.

Many thanks to  author V. Joy Palmer & publisher, Thomas Nelson & Zondervan Fiction for providing the prizes for this giveaway!

  15. I haven't had the opportunity to read any of these books yet. I think I would be most interested in Love, Lace, & Minor Alterations. I've been seeking out books with some humor in them lately, it sounds like it would fit the bill. Also, my niece just opened her own fashion design shop, designing custom wedding gowns--so I think that draws me to it as well. Leaving Oxford also sounds like a compelling read.
