Welcome to my very late Year-End 2016 Favorites!!
My year end favorite reads are books I've read in 2016 for the first time (and not necessarily all reviewed here - eek! or reviewed in 2016 - a few were posted in January 2017). They are also not all published in 2016, but majority am.
To start it off, here's what's going to happen. Every day in through February 28th (minus Sunday) at 6:00 PM EST,
- I will tell you my favorite reads in the category of the day through their covers (you know how I love covers) and

I teach 6th grade, and I'm always on the look out for new books for my classroom. I haven't heard of any of these novels, but will be adding them to my list. I also like how you included the devotional and the study Bible in your list, showing your faith. Looking forward to see the rest of your choices in the other categories!
ReplyDeleteThank you Anna! I think it's important to be aware of all the great books out there, even if they are Bibles with different versions or study guides or non-fiction stories that guide or entertain readers. So thank you for pointing it out! I truly hope these selections will allow readers to be aware of all the great books out there!
DeleteMy grandkids are 9 and 12. They would love these, as they both love to read. TY
ReplyDeleteSuch a great habit to start young! Good luck!
DeleteI don't have kids. But I have a lot of friends with kids that I would love to pass these books on to if I won!
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing wrong with reading them yourself. Hehe. Lol. *wink wink
DeleteI have not read them yet, but I also am a fan of young author books, like you said what's not to love? I think my daughter would be most interested in reading ivy Pocket, and I won't lie 9/10 I will pick up the book she finished and read it as well.

O, these books are meant to be shared. I read Ivy Pocket allowed and it was a HIT!
DeleteHaven't read any of them!
ReplyDeleteI hope you'll get a chance in the near future!
DeleteI haven't read any of them but, judging by the covers alone, I'd pick up 'Last in a Long Line of Rebels' first. These would be great for my daughter and for our Little Free Library when we're done reading them ourselves.
ReplyDeleteLove that you share in your Little Free Library! You'll need to share a pic with us!
DeleteI liked the "Say and Pray" books. I like clean middle school books, like the American Girl books.
