Year-End 2016 Series Favorite Reads + Giveaway

Welcome to my very late Year-End 2016 Favorites!!

My year end favorite reads are books I've read in 2016 for the first time (and not necessarily all reviewed here - eek! or reviewed in 2016 - a few were posted in January 2017).  They are also not all published in 2016, but majority am.

To start it off, here's what's going to happen. Every day in through February 28th (minus Sundays) at 6:00 PM EST
  1. I will tell you my favorite reads in the category of the day through their covers (you know how I love covers) and
  2. you click on them to see my review of the book (in a new window).
  3. Then you come back and fill out the Rafflecopter for a chance to win a prize!

For series, my criteria is still the same as above, but I would need to have read at least 2 books in the series in 2016 (rereads + new reads) to be added in this category (Otherwise, there would be a LOT more).

(NOT in any specific order!)

There are SOOOO many more series I loved, but I had to set several parameters to narrow them down to these 16 series. There's a good mix of contemporary, historical, young adult, suspense and romance. I haven't read all of them yet or reviewed all the ones I've read, but I will get there! The ones I have not read or have not reviewed will link to their Amazon sites.  These series have given me much joy, from great laughter to having my heart beat in anticipation or melting my heart with its swoonyness. There are even some that had be do the ugly cry or the subtle yet sweet tears down the cheek ones. They are all amazing and I hope you'll have the opportunity to read them. They are timeless.

AND for 2 lucky winners, you will be able to read at least one of this series!

(1) winner will win The Bishop's Family series by Suzanne Woods Fisher, courtesy of its publisher, Revell.  Many thanks!!!

AND another (1) winner will win a SIGNED copy of A Class of Their Own series by Jen Turano, courtesy of yours truly, Just Commonly blog.
If you must know how I got her to sign the full series, I've hound Ms. Turano at ACFW last summer to have her sign these for my year end giveaway! She might have signed under duress, but I assure you, she signed them!

As we end my year-end Favorite Reads categories, don't miss tomorrow's wrap up!

Don't forget these other Top Faves of 2016 and Giveaways!

  2. I think Hawthorne House is my absolute favorite!! I have also read Ladies of the Manor and really enjoyed those (well I haven't read the third one yet but it's close to the top of my TBR) as well. The Out of Time series is also on my TBR; I've heard great things about it.

  3. Honestly, Annie - signed under duress - that just cracks me up - which isn't actually advisable at the moment since I did have body parts sucked straight out of me a few days ago:) I was delighted to sign the books for you, and have truly enjoyed getting to know you over the past year!

  5. I can't even express all of the love that I have for the Porter brothers!! Lol Becky's series is the only one of these that I've had the chance to read through entirely. However, I have In Good Company, Home on the Range, and A Cautious Maiden in my TBR pile. Most of these series have books in my virtual TBR, too!

  11. Ooooo! So many good ones I've read Kristi Ann Hunter, Lynette Eason and Roseanna White and Jen Turano. But want to read Pepper Basham and Rachel Mc Milan and others, too. Now for the last ones in their series to become available at the library! And if they aren't there, I will put in a request for them to buy!

  13. I've read four of these series. Lynette Eason's Elite Guardians, Suzanne Woods Fisher's The Bishop's Family, and Becky Wade's Porter Family, and Ruth Logan Herne's Double S Ranch. All were excellent, can't-wait-for-the-next-one reads. I also read parts of several others and haven't completed them, mostly because my TBR pile is ALREADY out of control! I hope to get to the rest of Shelley Shepard Gray's Charmed Amish Life soon but I don't know if that will happen. I'd have to say that picking a favorite of those I've read already would be impossible. Each was my favorite as I read them and because each if from a different genre/sub-genre,they were favorites for different reasons.
