Just Commonly welcome authors to drop by and share with us their take on a book that embodies a predetermined Word of the Month! For the full year of 2017, every Monday at 7:00 AM EST, a new post by a new author will be live!

Today with have Laura Frantz to start the week for us! What book will she share with us and what does "love letters" have to do with it?

Now, a little about Laura's latest release, A Moonbow Night! I heard such great things about it! I'm definitely looking forward to reading this one!
With her signature sweeping style and ability to bring the distant past to vivid life, Laura Frantz beckons readers to join her in a land of Indian ambushes, conflicting loyalties, and a tentative love that meanders like a cool mountain stream.

Such a wonderful story of Valentine's Day & God's love. I'm enjoying the vivid descriptions in Moonbow Night. I'm terrible at descriptions in my own writing, so I'm learning how lovely they can be.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing Janet!! =)
DeleteJanet, Blessed by your taking the time to be here & read MOONBOW, too:) Not sure about those grandiose caps for MOONBOW here but they automatically pop up! Descriptive writing can be tricky to nail down & I love that you're leaning toward that. I probably border on being purple prosy at times but the natural world is so important to me that I don't mind treating it as a secondary character. Watch your own writing spring to life by including even the littlest details:) I've learned a lot by reading too. Again, thx for reading Tempe's story!
DeleteThe setting was definitely a secondary character in your story! I kind of write with ADD sometimes, I think, ha!
DeleteExcellent blog post. I loved this book.
ReplyDeleteThanks Cheryl!!
