Let's go in order, starting with July 2016 - Fantasy

My Thoughts:  This was a decent box. I think everything was practical for me. The tee was the quality I'd expect and I do like white a lot. And the quote from J.R.R Tolkien, "A single dream is more than a thousand powerful realities." The shoulder bag doesn't really get as much use as my other totes, since it's a smaller, but I do like the quote. The headband...I think I have a big head! It's a tad tight, but pretty nonetheless. I love gray and white. I like the pretty copper bangle, but don't get the Game of Thrones reference since I haven't watch or read the books yet.  Surprisingly I was excited for the coffee, but unfortunately for a Sumatra blend, it's not exactly "dark". Taste was so-so. This is the first box we don't have a bookmark from LexyOlivia.

Value:
  • Tee from Appraising Pages - $20
  • Saphira Eragon Blend Coffee from Passive Juice Motel – $3
  • Fantasy Antler Headband from Night and Day Baby – estimate $8
  • Game of Thrones Inspired "Hold the Door" Bangle from The Geeky Caudron – estimate $13
  • The Mortal Instruments Inspired Crossbody tote from Fiction Tea - estimate $15
Total estimate value is around $59! Great value there!

August - Fairy Tales
"All the World is made of faith, and trust, and pixie dust." - J.M. Barrie, Peter Pan
My Thoughts:  So this box, many hit or miss for me. The shirt is obviously a hit! I just love their shirts! This one's inspired by A Court of Midst and Fury by Sarah J. Maas.  The other item that's a hit is the Peter Pan Necklace! It is so cute and dainty, and comes in a little jewelry pouch!! Love it.  The bookmark is pretty, but I wish there was more variations in bookmarks provided in The Bookish Box.  The mug design is from Evie Seo of Evie Bookish. Her designs are not always my favorite, though I admire her creativity. Sometimes I just find it too busy, as is this mug.

Value:
  • Tee from Appraising Pages - $20
  • Mug inspired by Cinder by Marissa Meyer, designed by Evie Seo – $15
  • Bookmark inspired by Beauty & the Beast from LexyOlivia – $8
  • Peter Pan thimble necklace from The Bookish Box – estimate $13
  • Post-it notes with a Walt Disney quote "Laughter is timeless, Imagination has no age and Dreams are forever.” - estimate $5
Total estimate value is around $61 if you buy everything separately! Another great value box!

September - Literary Ladies
"A lady's imagination is very rapid; it jumps from admiration to love, from love to matrimony in a moment." - Jane Austen, Pride & Prejudice
My Thoughts:  OK, so this might be the first box that I'm not fond of the shirt. That hair! Really?! A little extreme, but I do like the color. It's a pretty shade of reddish maroon. And overall, not my favorite box. The tea, love anything Pride & Prejudice inspired and I will use the page flags and pen/highlighter. That's about it. My Katniss arrow pen/highlighter holder did not have an opening, so it can be used as a headband. However, those Leviosa feather studs are a major hit for me! Love studs and ones as pretty as those!

Value:
Total estimate value is around $58.50 if you buy everything separately.

October - Bibliophile Goodness
"I'd rather spend my money on books than on unnecessary electricity..." - Elinor Inkheart
My Thoughts:  Well, when I heard the theme, I had to get this one. Don't you agree? Loved everything in this box. If I had to pick the weakest link, it'll be the design on the shirt. Not my favorite. But all VERY well done.  This box only had FOUR items, a little on the skimpy side, but all the quality is top notch!

Value:
  • Tee from Appraising Pages - $20 (their card says it's $25 value, but most of their shirts are usually $20, so not sure why)
  • Ampersand Pashmina scarf from The Bookish Box – $18
  • Bookmark from LexyOlivia – $8 ($7 from their card, but on LexyOlivia shop, it is $8)
  • Bibliophile candle from Cherry Pit Crafts - $10
Total estimate value is around $56 if you buy everything separately! So the value is there even if there's only 4 items.

November - Banned Books
"Something will be offensive to someone in every book, so you've got to fight it." - Judy Blume
My Thoughts:  Decent box, but I'm not sure if I'll wear that shirt, but everything else will be used.

Value:
Total estimate value is around $53. So far the thinnest value of all the boxes so far, but I'm not complaining as it still exceeds the cost of the box plus shipping!

December  - Yule Ball
"Just because it's taken you three years to notice, Ron, doesn't mean no one else has spotted I'm a girl." - Hermione Granger, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
My Thoughts:  Aww. I love Harry Potter themed boxes! With that said, everything's pretty cool! Though I'm not big on glitter candles, but it's pretty and smells nice. The lapel pin! LOVE. The shirt's pretty cool too, and my first black shirt from them. So yes, on my keep list for sure. The tumbler is great quality, and I'm sure it'll be used.

Value:
Total estimate value is around $64.50. Simply WOW! Great Christmas gift for sure.
