"You’ve got powers: prayer,
patience, and bravery. And, best of all,
you’ve got God. There’s nothing you and God can’t do . . . together.”
Also, Bible Belles started a devotional for each book, which will be a great way to discuss topics of the books with your girls.

Ruth is certainly worthy of admiration because of her loyalty to her mother-in-law Naomi but I also admire Esther. She was very young but terribly brave and she saved her people from death.
