Goodness. Let me tell you when I say I'm totally digging the "ultra-confident, ultra-egotistical, and ultra-yardman...Avengers-type" Deputy US Marshal Cole Jeffers in DiAnn Mills' latest FBI Task Force book, Deep Extraction. A man of faith, readers will enjoy the clean atmosphere and how grounded he is to the investigation of his deceased friend. Adventure and suspense is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes this thrilling novel.

"Things are rarely only as they seem. Your case, the people in your life, even your thoughts and fears have a purpose." (164)

When unearthed deception plays a key role in finding truth, trust may just be the simple solution. Friendship and faith during hard times makes a prominent appearance as themes we can relate to, as we journey through this story with Cole, Tori, Agent Dublin, Sally and the many other characters that brings sparkle to an already sizzling read.

"As long as there's bitterness in your heart, your relationships with others will suffer." (85)

With all that said, Deep Extraction will extract not just the hours you'll spend reading it in one sitting, but also the pure enjoyment in reading a story with well developed characters, suspenseful plot lines and a romance that is filled with smart, witty and encouraging dialogues. Subtle faith elements makes this story a read for all genre lovers that prefer a clean, strong story and not preachy at all. Not necessary to follow the series in order, but definitely recommend adding all of them to your 'must read' list.
