"Help connect people in real life."
As Thanksgiving comes to a close, it's time to look forward to the year-end celebrations of Christmas and New Year's. Around this time of the year, the big dilemma of Christmas cards, yay or nay? Do we custom print, hand write or send virtual cards?
For the first time in years, we had our family pictures taken, but if you know me, you know I'm not big on sharing my personal pics to just anyone. So to print a standard custom holiday card with our pics on them for everyone really isn't my cup of tea. However, I'd love to send those to some family and close friends. To help with this decision, I went to my trusted virtual and printed "post" service, Paperless Post.* Their easy to navigate and "fun to look at" cards (and invitations) will definitely give me an idea on what I'm looking for. The plus side? They also have printed versions available to purchase from their exclusive partner, Paper Source (also a fan)!
Want to help me choose? Which one of these are your favorites?

Must be the New Yorker in me. I find this last one just "merry and bright!" I'm thinking of virtual cards to those I don't have mailing addresses for, and getting a few printed for family and friends that will prefer physical mail (I know I do!) and get some 4x6 prints of our family photos and stick one in the envelope! What do you think?
Paperless Post is virtual mailing service company with many free designs, but to personalize with certain upgrades, it does require the purchase of coins. They do have a number of free designs and you can send a free card up to 2000 emails for free.
*Thank you to Paperless Post on partnering with this post.
I have sent out Christmas cards for years, but this year... yeah, I have hardly done any work on them which is making me "depressed" because of the date the calendar reads. Usually I've done lots of work on them throughout November. But we'll see! Maybe I'll get them made yet. :D
ReplyDeleteI know all about that! LOL. Every year, the time just flies by!
DeleteYes I do them every year.
ReplyDeleteNice. I try. LOL
DeleteI love the city one with the tree tied to the car. It's so bright and makes me feel warm inside, despite the cold scene.
ReplyDeleteMe too! I think it's so happy. LOL
DeleteYes, I send out Christmas cards with personal notes in each one. I enjoy snail mail for sending better than e-card as the snail mail can be stored to read again later.
ReplyDeleteAgree. I also prefer snail mail, so I hope I don't procrastinate too much!
DeleteThank you.
