How do you choose between loyalty and the truth?
When the Carrington County Sheriff's Office dive team is called in to recover a body from a submerged car, they aren't prepared to find an encrypted laptop--or an unsettling connection between investigator Adam Campbell and the dead accountant.
Adam turns to his friend Dr. Sabrina Fleming to recover the files from the laptop. But the deeper they dig, the deadlier the investigation becomes. When evidence implicates members of Adam's own family, he and Sabrina will have to risk everything to solve the case.
The truth could set hundreds free--but someone is willing to do whatever it takes to silence anyone who threatens to reveal their secrets.

MY THOUGHTS
Lynn H. Blackburn's Dive Team Investigations have piqued my interest with its first book, Beneath the Surface with the fun camaraderie, faith message and suspense. Come the 2nd book, In Too Deep, I can tell you I am more than excited for the next book in the series.
In Too Deep featured my favorite character from the first book, Sabrina Fleming, the genius with a bit of social awkwardness.
"Dr. Fleming, when you get all rational and logical and passionate at the same time, you are a force to be reckoned with. " (224)
Characters like Sabrina, and the rest of the "intrepid band of investigators," we have characters that will make you laugh, cry and love, enough to want to meet them at the Pancake Hut (breakfast hangout in the story). Add in the suspenseful plot that keeps us guessing, In Too Deep is a great story. With the extra, that is more like a main feature, faith elements that are beautifully and perfectly woven throughout makes this a story that will satisfy any reader.
". . . it's not about how big our faith is. What matters is how big our God is. " (277)
Disclaimer: I received a copy of this book from the author/publisher. I was not required to write a positive review, and have not been compensated for this. This is my honest opinion.
